This morning I participated in the Chuckanut Footrace. I’m lucky to live in a community that supports a number of running events, but the Footrace is one of my very favorites every year. Today was no different. We have sunshine today, for one thing! June in Western Washington was dismal, dark, cold, and miserable. The weather finally changed on the 4th and we’re all reveling in the warmth. Today I’m grateful for sunshine, community, pain-free feet, and trails. What are you grateful for?

I am grateful for much needed rain, grandkids that make me laugh, and oatmeal chocolate chip cookies coming out of the oven in less than five minutes.
Ah so much fun! How was it? I am grateful that Missoula was a pretty cool place this morning, and that I am able to run as I am. I mean a year ago I wasn’t even running! It’s awesome! Hope you’re well Cami!!
Chocolate chip cookies and Missoula. I’m adding both of those things to my list of things to be grateful for. :}
So proud of you, Brandon. Now you have to rest a little bit so you don’t get any injuries from overuse… Just a few days.
Taking the week off! Until Friday at least, when I am back in Marysville and have a running partner who will be itching to get out! I also had most of last week off, as far as my logs are concerned the only run I’ve done since two Saturdays ago was the marathon, I biked a couple of times, and got in a couple of miles of running, but not much more! I look forward to the rest though! I got an ice bath in today and it was amazing!
